What is Peek Maps?

Peek Maps is a free embeddable map widget that shows your recent location and can be placed into a web page, blog, or sent as a link and shared with whomever you want.

What's a Peek?

The Peek is the coolest thing to happen to mobile email...ever! Find out more here.

How can you track my Peek's location?

A company named Xtify (link) provides the location of your Peek. Their location services calculate your approximate location based on the location of the nearest cell tower your Peek is communicating with.

How accurate is my map?

Since your location is based off of the cell tower, your location is accurate to about 1000 to 2000 meters. Your map doesn't give away your precise location, but instead will show your approximate location.

I'm concerned about privacy - do you share my location or email information with anyone else?

No. Your personal information will never be shared or sold.

What's up with my map and Foursquare?

Right now, Foursquare is only limited to a few cities, but if you are a Foursquare user, you can have your recent check-ins appear on your Peek Map relative to where you are at.
